For five generations, Champagne Philippe Hautem has proudly tended and preserved a Premier Cru-classified vineyard in the southern Montagne de Reims, spread across the villages of Vaudemanges, Villers-Marmery, Trépail and Billy-le-Grand, passing down the art of crafting Champagne from father to son.

GRAPE VARIETIES

100% Chardonnay

The Clos des Mises cuvée comes from a 100% Chardonnay parcel planted in 1949, at the heart of Villers-Marmery. It is vinified in oak barrels and aged on lees with bâtonnage.

After many years of rest in our cellars, this Champagne has developed remarkable structure, balance and finesse, together with rich aromas of butter and vanilla.
